Volleyball Recap: Maloney Wins High-Profile Contest Against Enfield

Maloney faced Enfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-16.

Wesley Colebrook paced Maloney's offense, picking up 22 kills. Colebrook got some help from Galo Cadena and his 27 assists. Cadena was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 11 aces.

Maloney pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Enfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
