Basketball Game Preview: Norfolk Panthers vs. Lincoln High Links

The Norfolk Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Lincoln High Links at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Norfolk is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Norfolk is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Lincoln North Star on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Norfolk had to suffer through a 59-23 loss at the hands of Lincoln North Star. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

The losing side was boosted by Skylar Indra, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln High earned a 40-32 win over Columbus on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Links.

Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lincoln High, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Norfolk strolled past Lincoln High in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 57-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norfolk since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
