Volleyball Recap: Daystar Academy Comes Up Short

Daystar Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Westlake Christian Academy Eagles.

Daystar Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westlake Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Daystar Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Beacon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on October 6. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lake Forest Academy on the 13th.
