Basketball Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short

Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fair Play Hornets.

Wheaton's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Fair Play, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Wheaton has already played their next matchup, a 66-33 defeat against Pierce City on the 14th. As for Fair Play, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-44 win against Hurley on the 14th.
