Soccer Recap: Sodus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Red Creek last Friday, Sodus came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the East Rochester Bombers on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for Sodus in their meetings with East Rochester: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sodus' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for East Rochester, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sodus will take on rival Williamson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Rochester is set to challenge their familiar foe Gananda Central at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
