Basketball Recap: Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek Takes a Loss

Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Jefferson Panthers 75-42. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-19 back in January.

It was another big night for Tyler Frydenlund, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards for Jefferson. The dominant performance also gave Frydenlund a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Tyson Lee also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jefferson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Whitehall/Harrison/Willow Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Broadwater at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
