Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Leadore's Third in Last Four Outings

If North Gem wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Leadore, they should've done a better job of containing Jared Ramsey. The Leadore Mustangs walked away with a 56-46 victory over the North Gem Cowboys on Wednesday thanks to Ramsey, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Dane Piippo, who posted eight points along with six blocks and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played.

Leadore has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for North Gem, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Leadore nor North Gem have any future games scheduled.
