Softball Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss

Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Cherokee Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 last Tuesday.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cherokee, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Looking ahead, Andrews will be playing at home against Swain County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will venture away from home to square off against Asheville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
