Volleyball Recap: Livermore Cowboys vs. Amador Valley Dons

Livermore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Amador Valley Dons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Livermore ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Livermore lost, don't look at Claire Kenyon. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Cecilia Sterneckert, who had nine digs and one assist.

Livermore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Amador Valley, their record is now 14-9.
