Soccer Recap: Widefield Takes a Loss

Widefield managed to slip by Coronado the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gladiators came up short against the Cougars on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Widefield it sure didn't stay that way.

Widefield now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Coronado, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Widefield will square off against rival Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Coronado is set to challenge their familiar foe Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
