La Salle Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Lincoln, who was ranked 11th at the time (La Salle Academy was ranked first). La Salle Academy took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 76-37 win over Lincoln.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant beat Shea 49-38 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kilties.

La Salle Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Mt. Pleasant, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
