Recap: North Forsyth Raiders vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the North Forsyth Raiders had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the War Eagles by a score of 61-49. North Forsyth's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Woodward Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kayla Whitner, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Cooper, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.

North Forsyth's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.9 points. As for Woodward Academy, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-6.

North Forsyth will square off against Veterans on Saturday. Veterans knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully North Forsyth likes a good challenge.
