 Baylor's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to Webb on Thursday. The Baylor Red Raiders came out on top against the Webb Spartans by a score of  5-1. This was a revenge  match for Baylor, as the team was forced to settle for  a  3-2 defeat when these two played  on Wednesday.
  Wells Grisham tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Zach Morrison, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Amari Jefferson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Baylor is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record  this season. As for Webb, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Baylor will  face off against Upperman at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Baylor is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9  runs per game this season. As for Webb, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against West at 5:30  p.m.
