Basketball Recap: Othello Takes a Loss

Othello lost against Grandview back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Othello Huskies were beaten by the Grandview Greyhounds 70-35. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-9.

Othello has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Grandview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Othello has already played their next game (against Quincy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grandview and Ellensburg will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
