Soccer Recap: Mosinee Falls Short of Rhinelander in the Playoffs

Mosinee and Rhinelander squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mosinee had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Hodags. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Rhinelander this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in May.

Mosinee has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-1 record this season. As for Rhinelander, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Mosinee nor Rhinelander have any future games scheduled.
