Ascend Leadership was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Hoke County Bucks, falling 78-43. The Aviators were down 49-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

When it comes to explaining why Ascend Leadership lost, don't look at Teon Davis. Despite the final result, he posted nine points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Walker, who earned four points.

Josiah Jacobs went supernova For Hoke County., putting up 25 points. Those 25 points gave Jacobs a new career-high. Savion Kinston was another key player, scoring nine points.
