Harker and Priory are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. Harker will welcome Priory at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Harker is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Harker is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Westmoor get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 27, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Shaurya Jain and Mason Brooks made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Jain struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Brooks pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. At bat, Jain went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles, while Brooks went 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Brooks a new career-high.
In other batting news, Matt Macmillan was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Vidwat Shekar, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Harker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westmoor only posted an OBP of .227.
Meanwhile, Priory came up short against South San Francisco on Tuesday and fell 7-3. The Panthers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Priory saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Sun, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Kai Aalfs was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.
Priory's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Harker, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Harker has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Priory struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Harker suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Priory in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Harker have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
