Wayzata had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Rogers Royals get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Wayzata pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Rogers, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Looking ahead, Wayzata will take on Minnetonka at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rogers, they will head out to face off against Hopkins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopkins' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Rogers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
