Soccer Game Preview: Rochester vs. Raymond/South Bend

The Rochester Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Raymond/South Bend Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Rochester barely beat Forks the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Rochester needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Raymond/South Bend put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over Ilwaco. Considering Raymond/South Bend have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Raymond/South Bend's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those three games. As for Rochester, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.
