Soccer Recap: Coffee Takes a Loss

Coffee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Thomas County Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on March 4th.

Coffee's record now sits at 3-9. As for Thomas County Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coffee will welcome Houston County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomas County Central, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Northside at 5:30 p.m. Thomas County Central is facing Northside at the right time seeing as Northside is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
