Fairview and Cold Springs are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Fairview Aggies will take on the Cold Springs Eagles at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cold Springs took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairview, who comes in off a win.

Fairview's tournament run continued when they took on Cleveland on Friday. Fairview walked away with a 7-2 victory over Cleveland.

The team relied heavily on Kylie Kovar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Ada Fales also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Fairview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Cold Springs and Cleveland have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Cold Springs lost 9-3 to Cleveland.

Cold Springs now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Fairview came out on top in a nail-biter against Cold Springs when the teams last played on Wednesday, sneaking past 12-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairview since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
