 In what's become a running theme this season, Tri-City Christian gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They never let the La Jolla Country Day Torreys onto the board and left with  a   13-0  win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tri-City Christian also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
 Tri-City Christian got a great performance from  Nadiya Ybarra as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over five innings pitched. Ybarra has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Abby Lisak, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.  Arantxa Espejo was another key contributor,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Tri-City Christian and  bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for La Jolla Country Day, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Tri-City Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Maranatha Christian at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday. Maranatha Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.75  runs per game on average), something Tri-City Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for La Jolla Country Day, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Classical Academy at 4:00  p.m. La Jolla Country Day has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
