It was a good run, but Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 19-6 to the Kosciusko Whippets. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Whippets earlier this season, when they won 14-10.

Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Kosciusko, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-15 record.

Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kosciusko, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Byhalia at 12:00 p.m.
