Basketball Recap: Southwest Comes Up Short

Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 91-17 loss at the hands of the Brunswick Wildcats. The match marked Southwest's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Grant Warren was Southwest's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Gavin Farris held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds. Peyton Moss took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Brunswick, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Southwest has already played their next contest, a 64-22 loss against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris on the 16th. Brunswick has also already played their next match (against Warrenton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
