Volleyball Recap: Covenant Life Takes a Loss

Covenant Life managed to slip by Maryland School for the Deaf the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Orioles on Saturday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maryland School for the Deaf found their leader in sophomore Rita Virnig, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Covenant Life's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season.

Covenant Life does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
