Bluffton has gone 9-1 against Beaufort recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Bluffton and seven for Beaufort.

On Thursday, Bluffton didn't have quite enough to beat Philip Simmons and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Beaufort lost 8-1 to Hilton Head Island on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Beaufort can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Hilton Head Island are ranked 12th).

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bluffton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Bluffton beat Beaufort 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
