There's no place like home for Victor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Hilton Cadets 3-0 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Victor was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-11.

Julia Mirabelli paced Victor's offense, picking up 16 kills. Mirabelli got some help from Emma Graney and her 15 assists. Sophia Heltemes and Grace Rachunok kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Victor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6-4 record this season. As for Hilton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Victor and Hilton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Victor (ranked 16th) will meet East Aurora (ranked 244th) at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hilton will take on Newark at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (61 vs. 257).
