Softball Recap: Schuylkill Valley Takes a Loss

The Schuylkill Valley Panthers came up short against the Susquenita Blackhawks on Monday, falling 13-2.

Brooke Andrews made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Schuylkill Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Susquenita, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Schuylkill Valley will host Oley Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lynx have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Susquenita, they are taking a road trip to take on East Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
