Softball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral Picks Up 14th Consecutive Win

St. Cloud Cathedral strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Fergus Falls Otters as they made off with a 15-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

St. Cloud Cathedral pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fergus Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, St. Cloud Cathedral will square off against Detroit Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fergus Falls, they will venture away from home to take on Goodridge/Thief River Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Otters surely won't give up without a fight.
