Basketball Game Preview: McClain Tigers vs. Circleville Tigers

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. McClain is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 21 games.

McClain saw some tournament action on Saturday. They slipped by South Point 32-31. The 32-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Circleville strolled past Logan Elm with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-31. The Tigers pushed the score to 40-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Braves cut but never quite recovered from.

McClain pushed their record up to 22-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Circleville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

McClain might still be hurting after the 50-29 loss they got from Circleville in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can McClain avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
