Highland Tech has gone a perfect 4-0 against Pinnacle Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 586th, while the Wildcats are ranked 258th).

Highland Tech will have to contain Braylon Gentry as he made an impact in Pinnacle Classical Academy's last game. He posted 21 points and seven rebounds. Gentry's big performance that afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Sage Ross was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.

Highland Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Highland Tech beat Pinnacle Classical Academy 54-41 in their previous matchup back in November of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
