Volleyball Preview: North Union Wildcats vs. Indian Lake Lakers

North Union is 2-8 against Indian Lake since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Lakers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, North Union made easy work of Graham Local and carried off a 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

North Union was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-21, 25-17.

North Union can attribute much of their success to Emma McElroy, who had 15 digs.

Meanwhile, Indian Lake was able to grind out a solid win over Shawnee on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

Roby is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Ross, who had 17 digs.
