Basketball Game Preview: St. Anthony Village Huskies vs. Visitation Blazers

St. Anthony Village and Visitation are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The St. Anthony Village Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Visitation Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Anthony Village will be strutting in after a victory while Visitation will be coming in after a defeat.

St. Anthony Village took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-35 win over Kennedy. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Visitation was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 70-66 to Cotter. The loss continues a trend for the Blazers in their matchups with the Ramblers: they've now lost three in a row.

St. Anthony Village is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Visitation, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

St. Anthony Village came up short against Visitation in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 61-51. Can St. Anthony Village avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
