Basketball Preview: Kosciusko Whippets vs. Leake Central Gators
Kosciusko and Leake Central are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Whippets will be playing at home against the Gators at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kosciusko took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed past Newton County to the tune of 100-65. With the Whippets ahead 46-25 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Kosciusko's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cory Guyton Jr led the charge by shooting 62% from the field on his way to 25 points.
