Bayside Academy extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-0. They were the clear victors by a 52-28 margin over the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats. This was payback for the Admirals, who suffered a 51-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Henry Thompson, who posted 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 60.7% of St. Luke's Episcopal's points, marking the eighth time in a row Thompson has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Stevens, who had six points and 12 boards.
