Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mumford). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 72-70 victory over the Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies Mustangs on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Mumford as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Mumford's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pershing the next time they take the court. Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies will head out to face Pershing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mumford will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
