Football Recap: DeRidder Dragons vs. North DeSoto Griffins

Despite the loss, DeRidder still got an impressive performance from Javaughn Fairley, who rushed for 113 yards and one TD on only seven carries.
North DeSoto's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenny Thomas, who rushed for 141 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. Thomas is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Luke Delafield was another key player, throwing for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt.
DeRidder's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for North DeSoto, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
DeRidder does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North DeSoto, they will take on Franklinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Griffins will need to watch out since the Demons have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
