Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tulia). They blew past the River Road Wildcats 20-10 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.
Roberto Martinez made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Martinez was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Jarvis Pestrana was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.
