Baseball Recap: MVP Baseball Academy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

MVP Baseball Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Central Pointe Christian Academy CPCA with a sharp 8-1 win. MVP Baseball Academy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 5th.

JUANESTEBAN GARCIA was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of ROBKLEINER GARCIA, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

MVP Baseball Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

MVP Baseball Academy's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7-1. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10-1.

Coming up, Central Pointe Christian Academy will head out to square off against IMG Academy Silver at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. IMG Academy Silver will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Central Pointe Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
