Football Recap: Emma Eldred and Brooklyn Koedel Pace Mission Viejo Defense

Saturday just wasn't the day for Mission Viejo's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodbridge Warriors on Saturday. If the Diablos were looking for revenge after losing 20-6 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mission Viejo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Emma Eldred and Brooklyn Koedel.

Mission Viejo now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Woodbridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Mission Viejo has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Fullerton on the 16th. As for Woodbridge, they will challenge Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Comanches have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
