Softball Game Preview: Bay City Blackcats vs. Brazosport Exporters

Bay City is 1-9 against Brazosport since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blackcats will be playing at home against the Exporters at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bay City's offense. They fell 4-0 to Columbia on Tuesday. The Blackcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Brazosport lost 8-2 to El Campo on Tuesday.

Sanii Player made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bay City's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Brazosport, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
