Volleyball Game Preview: Academy for Classical Education Gryphons vs. Warner Robins Demons

The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons will face off against the Warner Robins Demons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Academy for Classical Education is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Rock Springs Christian Academy just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Eagles. While the Gryphons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-13 in the first set.

Academy for Classical Education actually scored more points across those four sets (96-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-23, 30-28, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Warner Robins came up short against Perry on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Academy for Classical Education's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Warner Robins, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.
