Shasta is a perfect 10-0 against Central Valley since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Shasta Wolves will look to defend their home field against the Central Valley Falcons at 3:00 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Central Valley is headed out to face a Wolves team ready to give their home crowd a win. Shasta fell 9-5 to West Valley on Friday.

Ty Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Owen Boesiger was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Central Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against Corning by a score of 15-10 on Friday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Shasta took their win against Central Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2. Does Shasta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
