Softball Recap: Sonoma Valley Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Sonoma Valley's offense. They came up short against the San Rafael Bulldogs on Monday, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Sonoma Valley and nudges their season record down to 7-15. As for San Rafael, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sonoma Valley will host Napa at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Rafael, they will welcome Marin Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
