Varina fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Henrico since on Friday.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson fell victim to Freeman and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Mavericks. Thomas Jefferson haven't had much luck with Freeman recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Varina's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
