Baseball Game Preview: East Windsor Panthers vs. Cheney Tech Chargers

The East Windsor Panthers will take on the Cheney Tech Chargers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. East Windsor has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 18.

East Windsor lost 11-5 to Bolton on Wednesday.

Tyler Natitus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Josh Halpin also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Cheney Tech's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-0 to East Hartford. The Chargers were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Hornets' pitcher proved too tough.

Cheney Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Fortunato, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Cheney Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for East Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
