Baseball Recap: Heritage Academy Wins Going Away Against Cumberland Valley Christian

Heritage Academy entered their tilt with Cumberland Valley Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Blazers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Caleb Wise was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Heritage Academy is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-3 otherwise. Wise was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Micah Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Heritage Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cumberland Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.
