Volleyball Recap: Highland Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Highland waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Wakefield School Fighting Owls with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 6th.

Highland's got stronger as the match went on, holding Wakefield School to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-4.

Leading Highland to victory were Avery Hillygus and Olivia Dart. Hillygus had 11 kills and nine aces, while Dart had 25 assists and five aces. That's the most aces Hillygus has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Highland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 35 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
