Softball Recap: Ironwood Takes a Loss

Ironwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-7 to the Lake Havasu Knights.

Madelaine Gober made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three runs.

Ironwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lake Havasu, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Ironwood by a score of 14-1 later that day.
