Scottsbluff has gone 8-2 against Alliance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Scottsbluff Bearcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Alliance Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Scottsbluff knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Alliance likes a good challenge.

Scottsbluff saw some tournament action on Saturday. Everything went their way against Sidney as Scottsbluff made off with a 70-48 win. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Nate Kelley, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists. Tre Boswell was another key player, shooting 4-for-7 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds.

Scottsbluff smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Alliance lost to Gering on the road by a 63-49 margin on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Alliance in their matchups with Gering: they've now lost seven in a row.

Scottsbluff's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Alliance, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Scottsbluff was able to grind out a solid win over Alliance in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 64-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scottsbluff since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
